Last updated: 18 July 2026
Article 1 — Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale govern the relationship between the association WCTB — Wing Chun Traditionnel Bordeaux (the "association") and any person (the "customer" or "member") who, via the site, makes:
- a membership or renewal at the school;
- a registration for an event or workshop;
- a shop purchase (goods).
Any order or membership implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
Article 2 — Price
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. As the association is not subject to VAT (art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code), prices do not include VAT. The rates applicable are those in force at the time the order or membership is confirmed.
Article 3 — Memberships and classes
Membership gives access to classes according to the plan chosen (two classes, unlimited, teen, discovery…) for the period indicated at enrolment. Some plans may include payment in several instalments. Renewal and payment schedule terms are communicated to the member and reminded by email before the end of the period.
Article 4 — Order and payment
Payment is made online by card via our secure provider Stripe. The association never has access to your card data. The order is considered final once payment is confirmed. A confirmation is sent by email.
Article 5 — Right of withdrawal
Under articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify it, starting from:
- the conclusion of the contract, for services (memberships);
- receipt of the goods, for shop purchases.
To exercise this right, simply send a clear and unambiguous request to contact@wing-chun-traditionnel.fr before the deadline expires.
Article 6 — Refunds
Refund terms (withdrawal, event cancellation, membership interruption) are detailed in our refund policy.
Article 7 — Liability and practice
Practising martial arts requires suitable physical fitness. The member declares themself fit to practise and to provide, where applicable, the required medical certificate or attestation. The association cannot be held liable for damage resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or an undisclosed health condition.
Article 8 — Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Article 9 — Governing law and disputes
These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to first send a written complaint to the association, at contact@wing-chun-traditionnel.fr, in order to seek an amicable solution.
Under articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute with a professional, after having attempted to resolve it by means of a prior written complaint that has not received a satisfactory response within one year.
The consumer may also consult the European Commission's information on consumer dispute resolution: consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. Failing an amicable solution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
